Industry Collaboration

A respected leader within Australian golf, the PGA works alongside numerous other industry groups, ensuring the best interest of PGA Members and the wider golf community are always prioritised. With each year that passes, industry collaboration becomes an increasing priority for the PGA as it looks to lead unification and rationalisation of the game. Through collaborative initiatives, the PGA hopes to positively impact strategies for wider industry growth with a particular focus on grass roots participation. In 2014 the PGA and Golf Australia made the biggest step forward in this area, partnering to jointly promote MyGolf, Australia’s first jointly-endorsed nationally recognised junior golf program. The PGA is a founding member of the Australian Golf Industry Council and also works closely with other industry groups including Golf Management Australia, the Australian Ladies Professional Golf, the Australian Golf Course Superintendents Association and many others.
